Situated a mile from the village of Patrington between the east coast and the Humber Estuary, you are spoilt for choice for things to see and do. In the village we have 3 public houses serving good food and ale, and a choice of 3 café/tearooms, we also have a great little cake shop, hairdressers and several convenience stores. St Patricks Church is the Queen of Holderness and well worth a visit.
The local seaside town of Withernsea is just a 10 minute drive away. Withernsea’s small sand and pebble beach boasts a grand tower-like entrance, there are plenty of delicious fish and chip cafés and the inland lighthouse towers above the town, 127 feet high, this historic structure is home to a museum and a RNLI lifeboat exhibition.
There is plenty to keep you entertained in the area, The RAF Holmpton Underground Bunker, Fort Paull, riding on the beach at Easington, Burton Constable Hall, 2 local golf courses as well as all the entertainments in the local city of Hull where there is the Deep, Old Town Museums and the Marina in addition to the theatres and shops and café culture down Princes Avenue.
